An SSII Student stabs Senior to death for punishing him.

A Senior Secondary School boy of Gaskiya college Ijora Lagos known as Saka Ahmed aka Ejo had been accused of stabbing a senior student Saheed Jimoh for punishing him.

The 19 year old Jimoh who was a school prefect punished Ejo for an offence he committed and this resulted in a fight before school hours. Ejo was reported to have been waiting at a canteen near the school and on sighting Jimoh entering into the school premises, Ejo rushed at him plunging a knife into his chest and then fled the scene. The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced dead. The matter was later reported to the Amukoro police station.

Jimoh was brought to Lagos in 2005 by his mother to continue his studies said a family member of the diseased Mr Shakiru Oluayo a resident of Adejiyan Street, Amukoko. speaking further he said the boy did not want to go to school that morning but went because he did not want to miss his science project classes.

Ejo was supossed to be in SSIII just like Saheed but he had to repeat a class.
I don't know what happened between Ejo and my Nephew, Saheed has been living with me for 10 years. I learnt that as my nephew was getting close to the school that morning, the boy was waiting for him by a canteen and as he got closer to the school gate the boy stabbed him in the chest.

An eye witness identified as Kayode Aderibigbe, while reacting to the incident said it was too late for Saheed when he noticed his assailant approaching.
Aderibigbe said Ejo had been waiting for Jimoh, he brought out a knife from his bag and as Saheed saw Jimoh he ran but Ejo ran after him and stabbed him. I followed the pupils who rushed Saheed to the hospital but he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos state police public relations officer DSP Joe Offor said a manhunt had been launched for the suspect. the victim was cofirmed dead and investigation are still on said DSP Offor.
