The 19 year old Saka Ahmed also known as Ejo, a student of Gaskiya College Amukoko who stabbed his school mate and school prefect on wednesday for punishing him has finally been arrested by the police.
The trouble started on Tuesday when 19 year old Jimoh who was a school prefect punished Ejo who had just resumed on Monday, for an offence, however this did not go down well with Ejo who picked an argument with Jimoh, this lead to a fight between the duo and the death of Jimoh right outside the school premises.
Ejo was arrested by the policemen of Amukoko Division in his hideout at about 6:40 pm on Thursday night along with 6 other students. The suspect's father was invited by the Daily post officials before the arrest of the suspect.
However normal activities and classes had returned to the school premises. There was lack of cooperation from the school Authorities as they refused to speak to the press. but Officials from the Office of the Educational Quality Assurance zone 14 were sighted within the school premises compiling reports of the incident.
One of the students who spoke on the condition of anonymity said it is no secret in the school that there are several cult factions and cult related activities within the school, many students are involved in the use of charms.and one of the charms is called a "no touch blood" it is known to be very poisonous and kills instantly when it comes in contact with blood and might have been used on Saheed.
One of the students disclosed further saying Ejo who was supposed to be in SS3 just like the deceased but failed woefully in his last exams and therefore stopped coming to school,but his father brought him on Monday to see the principal and the sad incident occurred on Wednesday.
The police said the case will be pursued to its logical conclusion.
